The Dokuji Nami Limited Edition katana is continuing the Thaitsuki tradition of collectable, premium high end swords. This is a numbered, limited edition katana with a numbered certificate signed by the sword maker. The Dokuji Nami katana features a hand forged and folded high carbon blade made of the highest grade Japanese steel with 1024 layers a and full Bo-Hi. The blade is clay tempered and water quenched with an HRC 60-35 and has a beautiful Hada (folding pattern)and a natural and pronounced Hamon. This katana is among the upper echelon for the sword collector or practitioner and a true heirloom quality sword!
The saya features multiple coats of hand rubbed red lacquer and is made of two layers with the inner softwood core contacting the blade.
Hand crafted pure silver fittings with a traditional Nami motif as well Japanese black silk over high grade black rayskin tsuka round out this stunning katana.
