Hand Forged Folded Spring Steel BladeThis Wakizashi is designed for the serious practitionerThe Imperial Forge Toumoku Wakizashi features a hand forged 1050 spring steel wakizashi; masterfully hand crafted specifically to be used in “the way of the sword”. Each sword blade is hand forged out of 1050 Spring Steel and individually heat treated, through tempered and polished by skilled hands. This Wakizashi is built for the most advanced sword practitioner, but very affordable for all enthusiasts.
Imperial Forge has used only traditional materials for the swords’ fittings. The Tsuba (guard), Fuchi (collar), and Kashira (pommel) are expertly crafted from black iron.
The Habaki (blade collar) is hand made out of polished brass and each hilt is covered in black ray skin, tightly wrapped in traditional “cross over” style with green cord. It takes highly skilled craftsman to produce a sword of this quality, this is why Imperial Forge Swords can be more difficult to acquire.
