sword smiths at Ryumon. They start with hand forging this
katana blade from 1060 carbon steel. Then they polish
it to a beautiful finish and sharpen it as only a master
with years of experience can. The saya of this sword is
made from mahogany wood and
lacquered with a clear shiny finish. As with all Ryumon
katana, this one will be a treasured part of your sword
collection.

Blade has traditional Horimono (carvings) on each side
Tsuka is wrapped with top grade rayskin and Japanese cotton
(double pegged)
Iron tsuba with "heaven" scene on one side and
bamboo on the reverse with details usually seen on much
more expensive swords
Saya is made from Mahogany wood with brilliant
lacquer finish and has a masterfully tied sageo
